La Meridiana - Sorrento

The room was very nice, we had a view of the ocean and the neighboring orange grove. The breakfast was good with many varieties of breads, fruits, jams, coldcuts, cereals etc. The hotel was in short walking distance to stores and resturants. Having free parking is a definite plus in a city location. The staff was helpful in suggesting resturants and the location of the ferry to Capri. Its an nice place to stay.

Great location, free parking out front, lemon grove across the street, convenient for side-trips to Capri, etc.

Bad service!! When I came back at night, I found the air conditioner was out of order. When I asked at front desk,the staff admitted the whole system was down. I wonderd why they did not make any verbal or notice to the customers when they came back to the hotel. And the hotel did not make any compensation / remedy measures to the customers. And the breakfast is terrible, the choice and amount are not enough. The staff even packed up all food and drink at 8:30am when there were still at least 4 customers had not finished their breakfast.

Close to the train station. Close to the centre of all the activities but not right in the middle of it.

Very thin walls...the arrival and departure, as well as in-room conversations, of other guests was really loud.

The location was great.

Check in was very slow. Rooms are very basic. Breakfast was not great. Cleaning services were very noisy starting at 7:30/8 a.m. Would not reccomend or return to this place.

Need a bigger sign for the hotel...easy to miss but this may be due to local regs....

The staff at this hotel were friendly and polite. They would try their best to answer any of your questions.

The rooms were small, with the window locked up. The washroom was very tiny. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast was decent, but a little repetitive.

This place is a good inner city Hotel for tourists. Supplied coordinates were very accurate with use of navigation system. Hotel is within a short walking distance from local shopping areas, with a good night life, and great dinning. I felt comfortable traveling with small children in the local area. The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff was very welcoming and patient dealing with people who are not familiar with the area. The stay was overall very pleasant.

There is limited parking in the area. More information should be included on the Booked.net website about required documentation at check- in I.E. passports.

The hotel was great, it was a great price for a brilliant location. It was right around the cornor from the square. Like a 5 minute walk. Honestly if you have any doubts dont the hotel is great.

The only thing is there is no pool.

The hotel was not far from bus/rail station which was great and only a short walk away from the main square and bars/restaurants. It was also off of the main road opposite a lovely lemon grove and from the balcony you could see the beautiful sea views. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and breakfast ideal. The rooms were clean and comfortable and totally adequate for our stay in Sorrento. We would certainly use La Meridiana again and would also recommend it to others. A very enjoyable stay!

Just a small observation and that is that more clothes hangers could be provided in wardrobes.

Need modernising. No internet. Tiny old fashioned TV. Breakfast so so.
